Bibhuti Pathashala Heads to the Polls for Student Leadership Election 2083
Students of Bibhuti Pathashala will cast their votes tomorrow to elect House Captains, Vice Captains, and Middle School House Captains for the academic year 2083. Candidates from different houses have been actively presenting their leadership visions ahead of the election.
Leadership at Bibhuti Pathashala is not simply a title; it is an opportunity for students to represent their peers, take responsibility, and contribute to the growth of the school community. Continuing this tradition, students will head to the polls tomorrow to elect their School Captain, School Vice Captain, House Captains, Vice Captains, and Middle School House Captains for the academic year 2083.
Over the past few days, candidates have shared their ideas, interacted with fellow students, and presented their vision for strengthening student participation and school spirit. The election process has generated enthusiasm across all houses, offering students a valuable opportunity to experience democratic decision-making within the school environment.
The race for School Captain will see Grade 9 students Suman Khadka of Emerald House and Acela Dahal of Sapphire House seeking the support of their fellow students. For the position of School Vice Captain, students will choose between Ankit Shrestha of Grade 9 and Ritisha Bhadel of Grade 8.
Alongside the school-wide leadership positions, several house-level contests will also be decided through voting. Sapphire House members will elect their captain from Regain Thapa and Prince Shrestha, while Rijan Shrestha and Ayushka Karki are contesting for the position of Vice Captain. In Citrine House, students will vote between Ishan Shrestha and Krijal Shrestha for Vice Captain, while Abhinav Dhakal and Subarna Kuikel are contesting for Middle School House Captain.
Emerald House members will choose their Vice Captain from among Pratima Khadka, Bibas KC, Samsara Tamang, and Devasis Tripathi. The contest for Middle School House Captain in Emerald House features Roj Neupane, Sofiya Shree Dahal, Sonam Dolma Lama, and Jagat Jung Bogati. In Ruby House, students will vote among Saira Shrestha, Priti Rai, and Labson Bista for Vice Captain, while Prasis Subedi and Subani Pudasaini are contesting for the Middle School House Captain position.
Several leadership positions have already been decided uncontested. Subodh Gurung has been elected Middle School House Captain of Sapphire House, while Ojashpi Limbu has secured the position of House Captain of Citrine House. Similarly, Chunmo Dolma Tamang has been selected as House Captain of Emerald House, and Rubina Sunar will serve as House Captain of Ruby House.
Student leadership plays an important role in building confidence, responsibility, communication, and teamwork among learners. Through this election, students not only choose their representatives but also gain firsthand experience of participation, accountability, and democratic values.
