Planting Seeds of Change: Little Hands, Big Impact

The day started with a heartwarming scene. Students from grades 1 to 3, full of energy and a love for nature, eagerly dug holes and planted young saplings in the schoolyard. Seeing their tiny hands carefully holding the future of the school ground was a sight that could melt anyone’s heart. It was a powerful reminder that caring for our environment can start from a young age.

Creative Crafts with a Cause: Using Up Old Things to Make Something New!

As the morning went on, the focus shifted to the upper grades (4 to 9). Here, it was all about unleashing creativity! Classrooms turned into eco-friendly studios where students used their artistic talents to make crafts from recycled materials. These weren’t just pretty decorations; each creation had a message. From miniature windmills made from old cardboard boxes to posters showing the importance of reducing waste, these crafts were a colorful display of how much the students understood environmental issues.

Picking the best ones was no easy task! Every craft showed so much cleverness and hard work. But after careful consideration, ten amazing creations were chosen as champions. This highlighted the importance of being resourceful and taking care of our environment. The winning students were beaming with pride – a true example of how good it feels to be recognized for using your skills for a good cause.

Testing Our Knowledge: A Fun Eco-Quiz!

The fun didn’t stop with crafts! The auditorium buzzed with excitement as an exciting eco-quiz got underway. Students from grades 4 to 9 battled it out, answering questions on all sorts of things related to the environment, from the variety of living things around us to the challenges of climate change. The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and groans as teams raced to answer correctly.

In the end, the Ruby house came out on top, their cheers echoing through the halls. But beyond winning, the real victory was seeing all the participants show their knowledge and passion for protecting our planet.

The celebration wasn’t just for students. Principal Sabina Dahal, a strong believer in environmental responsibility, joined the festivities by planting a tree alongside the students. This simple act spoke volumes about the school’s leadership and its commitment to creating a culture of environmental stewardship.

More Than Beautiful Pictures: Award-Winning Environmental Artwork

The artistic spirit wasn’t limited to crafts either. Seven students were recognized for their impactful environmental artwork, which is now proudly displayed within the school. These thought-provoking creations weren’t just beautiful; they served as a constant reminder of the importance of protecting our planet.

A Greener Future for Bibhuti Pathashala

Bibhuti Pathashala’s World Environment Day celebration was more than just a day of activities. It was a day that brought the school community together and fostered a sense of shared responsibility for the environment. The dedication of the Eco Club, the active participation of students, and the leadership of Principal Dahal have created a wave of environmental consciousness that is sure to extend far beyond the school grounds.

This is just the beginning of Bibhuti Pathashala’s green journey! With a passionate Eco Club at the helm and a school community invested in environmental well-being, the future looks bright. We can’t wait to see what amazing initiatives they come up with next!
